I’m not sure if I have already sung the praises of Facebook .. but I think it is a WONDERFUL thing!  I have managed to get back into contact with so many people and it has been nice catching up on all of their news since last we spoke (which for a lot of people is over 10 years!).  A few people have made it big, some have gotten married and had children and a few are on their way up!

One such friend is Olivia Safe.  I used to sit next to her in choir and even when we were 12 I knew she was special.  We always marvelled at her amazing voice, so when she left after GCSE’s to go to a special music college, we waved goodbye and wished her well.  When I got back in contact with her, I found out that she has played Christine in Phantom, is a member of Passionata (a Classical Rock band) and has toured with a famous and popular German Tenor (Bjorn Casapietra) and so many other things!

Recently, she entered a contest to find “the next big Soprano” and voting closed today – I voted about 10 times for her and have my Sky+ all ready to record the results tomorrow – I have everything crossed and wish her well .. Go Liv!!
