Sculder & Mully
I used to be a HUGE fan of The X-Files … I say used to because they don’t make it anymore – I do still watch the repeats every now and again on Sky but find that if you know the storyline it just isn’t the same! Anyway, I went to see the new movie tonight at the local cinema as they have bargain tickets on Tuesday’s at just £4! I had read quite a few reviews that slated it but wanted to give it a go anyway – I had faith.
I shouldn’t have! I’m not saying it was a complete wash out, but it wasn’t all that great either! It didn’t really follow any of the ‘old’ storylines and just didn’t feel right – for a start, the ‘will they wn’t they’ relationship was completely abandoned and it ruined it IMHO! I would give it 3*’s MAX!
Before the film, my brother JED and I went to the new Yo Sushi next door. I had a voucher for 50% off the food bill as I hvae joined their mailing list – it was really good and worth every penny – although it would have been really expensive if we had paid full price!! I have never been to a Sushi restaurant before and it was really good fun; watching the food flow right in front of you, water, wasabi, Soy sauce and giner on tap and really friendly staff – I would definitely recommend it!
Turning to more personal things, I have started seeing a counsellor. It is something that I have toyed with the idea of for a little while and finally decided to take the plunge! I found a few local people online and emailed them – one emailed back and I went to see her last week. I instantly felt comfortable with her and found myself talking non-stop (which I guess is a good thing in a therapy session) and was shcked at the end when she summed up her thoughts – it’s amazing what other people hear when you think your talking about something cmpletely different!
I had my second session last night and again had an enjoyable time. I like talking to her – it’s nice to have someone listen for a change, as I tend to be the listener with all my friends! She is awy for 2 weeks now so I am not seeing her until the end of the month, but it won’t make too much of a difference I don’t think – but i guess onl time will tell on that one!
I bought a journal today - lovely purple-silvery one … I’m not sure what I am going to use it for – I know I won’t end up writing in it as a diary (I also have this for that!) and already have one that I try to use as my “Encouragement Book”, which is actually pretty empty at the moment! If anyone has any ideas, let me know!
